Both of my children have rooms that are works in progress! Retty is only (almost) 8 months old, so I guess I can cut myself some slack that it is taking forever to pull his room together (not sure what my excuse is for big sister’s room..she’ll be 3 this summer). Still to be done are some curtains (that aren’t girly white eyelet numbers from Mommy’s childhood bedroom), a dresser (still not set on wood finish, olive paint, or a combination of both…..plus I still need to find a dresser!), remove piles of clothes from the floor (and put in said dresser), paint electrical outlet covers to match the walls (the white shiny ones are really U-G-L-Y), continuing collecting owl or woodland themed cuties and vintage boy items to accessorize!
Now that we’ve gone over what hasn’t been done, here’s a preview of my favorite things that have!

A family friend painted the tree as a baby gift! I just told her I wanted a white birch and she ent ith it….I love it! Next, I want to find a short antique dresser to paint (I'm thinking in Arles ASCP or red paint and hang the branches that are sitting in the corner of his room to hang brown curtains we have on (I plan on adding white pom pom trim too to add to the vintage feel and to get that toadstool feel…like your daughter's little table!) and I also think (maybe a little down the line) I want to cover the small wall at the head of his crib with old whitewashed boards to act as a headboard once he's in a big boy bed!
